Engineering Firm The Berger Group Acquires Ranger International Services

The global engineering firm The Berger Group of Companies has acquired Ranger International Services Group (RISG), an aviation, logistics and engineering services company serving the Defense Department, government agencies and international customers. Terms of the deal, which closed last week, were not disclosed. Berger Group acquired RISG from a consortium of private equity firms that included First New England Capital, Argosy Capital and Plexus Capital as well as Ranger Aerospace, a privately held investment and management holding company.
