Elbit Wins $102 Million U.S. Army Contract To Provide Mortar Fire Control Systems

The U.S. Army awarded Elbit Systems of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Limited [ESLT], an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) five-year contract worth up to $102 million to provide and field mortar fire control systems for the service, the company said Thursday.The mortar fire control systems consist of Mortar Fire Control Systems Mounted (MFCS-M), Mortar Fire Control Systems Dismounted (MFCS-D), and a lightweight handheld mortar ballistic computer.The company said its system improves mission success through greater accuracy while…
