Elbit Receives First Contract With Philippines Armed Forces

Elbit Systems Ltd. [ESLT Sunday said it was awarded an approximately $20 million contract to supply upgraded armored personnel carriers (APCs) to the Philippines armed forces. The contract, which does not reveal how many APCs are involved, marks a significant breakthrough for Elbit Systems, as it is the first one awarded to the company in the Philippines. The upgrade will include 25mm unmanned turrets, 12.7 mm remote controlled weapon stations (RCWS) and fire control systems (FCS) for 90 mm turrets.…
