Cogent Systems [COGT] 1Q08 1Q07 Sales $24.6M $30.1M Net Inc. $14.4M, $0.16 $6.2M, 0.06 The improvement in the bottom line was due mainly to a $10M ($0.07) gain related to Cogent's settlement agreement with Northrop Grumman [NOC] and to a lesser degree by its ongoing stock repurchase program, which helped boost earnings per share.
