DoD Counter-Drone Task Force Makes First Replicator 2 Purchase, Fortem’s DroneHunter

The Defense Department’s task force focused on acquiring solutions to counter small drones has made its first purchase under the Replicator 2 initiative, acquiring two DroneHunter F700 systems from Fortem Technologies. The DroneHunter F700 is a multi-rotor vertical takeoff and landing unmanned aircraft system (UAS) equipped with radar and other sensors to chase and interdict small drones, capture them with a tethered net, minimizing potential harm to individuals on the ground, and then return to a safe location.
