The Defense Department has awarded Smiths Detection a $65 million order under an existing production contract under the Joint Chemical Agent Detector (JCAD) Increment 1 program. The order, for which deliveries began last month, brings to $122 million the total awarded to Smiths under the Increment 1 program.
