Verizon [VZ] said last week that a Pentagon agency has completed migration to one of its unified communication platform, resulting in the elimination of two legacy systems for a next-generation communications solution.The unnamed Department of Defense office integrated the unified communication platform under the “Everything Over IP” initiative, which was led by Verizon and engineering partners Ribbon Communications, Black Box and Visioneering.“This significant transformation lets the user community operate using a communications system that addresses their IT needs now –…
