DHS Prepares For Cybersecurity Framework Release

The National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will launch a voluntary program of cybersecurity best practices for private firms in two weeks, but DHS recognizes the gaps left in the Cybersecurity Framework, according the department's chief cybersecurity official.
