DHS, Netherlands Agree to Trade Biometric and Biographic Data

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Dutch Ministry of Security and Justice last month signed the Preventing and Combating Serious Crime accord allowing for the trade of biometric and biographic data between the U.S. and the Netherlands. Under the agreement the two countries will share law enforcement data, including fingerprints, to improve identification of known terrorists and criminals during investigations and other law enforcement activities.
