A story in the Sept. 29 issue of Defense Daily incorrectly said the final defense authorization bill lawmakers unveiled last week calls for the defense secretary to "provide for the application of a domestic industrial base evaluation factor during source selection for a major defense acquisition program." That provision, in a previous bill passed by the House, was dropped from the final legislation.
