Morpho Detection Nabs ETD Contracts with Fraport, Lufthansa Morpho Detection has received contracts from Frankfurt, Germany airport owner and operator Fraport AG and German airline Lufthansa for benchtop explosives trace detectors (ETDs). Fraport ordered 45 Itemiser DX ETDs and Lufthansa 17 of the systems. Under the contract with Fraport, the ETDs will be deployed to Frankfurt Airport this year stemming from new European Union legislation for explosives screening of personnel, materials and concessions entering secure areas of airports.
