General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc, Poway, California (FA2391-23-D-0003); Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas (FA2391-23-D-0005), and Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, El Segundo, California (FA2391-23-D-0006), have been awarded a shared $400,000,000 ceiling, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for research and development for the Advanced Aerospace Systems Technology Research program. This contract has multiple awardees to be awarded at different dates. The primary objective of the program is to conduct research toward the development, demonstration, integration, and transition of new aerospace vehicle technologies, designs, and integrated systems that will provide advanced capabilities to the Department of the Air Force. Work will be performed at each contractor facility, unless otherwise indicated in each task order, and is expected to be complete by April 4, 2030. This contract was a competitive acquisition, and 15 offers were received. Fiscal 2023 research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $299,068 will be distributed among each contractor at the time of award. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
