Morpho Detection Nabs $133M TSA Contract for Reduced Size EDS The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has awarded Morpho Detection, Inc. (MDI) a potential five-year, $133.2 million contract to supply the company’s CTX 5800 reduced-size explosive detection system (EDS) to screen checked baggage. The award essentially adds MDI’s CTX 5800 reduced-size EDS to the agency’s Qualified Products List. TSA hasn’t placed any orders for MDI’s system.
