TSA Awards Peraton $343M for IT Support

Peraton has received a potential $342.7 million contract from the Transportation Security Administration to operate, maintain and improve the agency’s information technology, services and processes over five years. The award was made under the Information Technology Management Performance Analysis, and Collaborative Technologies (IMPACT) II contract. “This award is a testament of our ability to continue delivering high level IT support services and solutions to further enhance TSA’s mission success,” says John Coleman, president of the company’s Citizen Security and Public Services sector.

Peraton Nabs $175M CBP Award for TARS Support

Customs and Border Protection in late December awarded Peraton a potential $174.6 million contract to continue providing support for the agency’s Tethered Aerostat Radar System (TARS), which provides persistent detection and surveillance for low-level air, maritime and surface smugglers and drug traffickers along the U.S. border with Mexico, the Florida Straits, and a portion of the Caribbean. Peraton is the incumbent. The TARS are deployed at eight fixed sites, and include the aerostats and support systems, radars, cameras, weather detection equipment, communications systems, mooring systems, personnel and other related equipment. The Request for Proposals for the recompete of the contract was issued last June.

TSA Awards SAIC $150M Test and Evaluate Screening Equipment

Science Applications International Corp. [SAIC] has received a potential $150 million contract from the Transportation Security Administration to continue performing operational testing and evaluation of the agency’s airport screening equipment and non-screening systems. SAIC says it will provide test planning, execution, data analysis and evaluation of passenger and baggage screening equipment. The company will also help validate the operational effectiveness, suitability and cyber resilience of systems used to protect the nation’s transportation of people and cargo.

Sev1Tech gets $49M CISA Award for Engineering and Support Services

Sev1Tech says it has received a $48.8 million contract to provide enterprise information technology capabilities to the Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. The CISA Enterprise Engineering and Operations Support Services contract has a six-month base period and three one-year options. The support and services include a modern IT infrastructure, the evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies, migration to the cloud, mobility and collaboration platform and continually improving the performance, security and availability of enterprise IT services. The contract will support CISA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer.

TSA Awards Accenture $34M FAST Bridge Contract

The Transportation Security Administration has awarded Accenture’s [ACN] Federal Services unit a $34.5 million, one-year bridge contract for ongoing program management, and operations and maintenance support services in support of the Flexible Agile Scalable Teams Portfolio 2 contract. The award will allow for a re-compete contract to be awarded and for any protest period to be cleared.
