CGI Nabs $267M CDM Task Order

The Department of Homeland Security has awarded CGI [GIB] a potential six-year, $267 million task order to provide cyber security consulting services under the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) program for CDM’s Dynamic and Evolving Federal Enterprise Network Defense (DEFEND) Group F agencies. The award was made under the General Services Administration’s Alliant 2 contract. CGI says it will provide the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency with a shared services platform to deliver CDM capabilities to over 75 non-chief financial officer act agencies. The company will also provide a shared services catalog of capabilities and services that meet CDM program goals.

CBP Air and Marine Office Awards $74M in Contracts

Sierra Nevada Corp. has received a $47 million contract from Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Air and Marine Operations (AMO) to provide the agency with two Multi-Role Enforcement Aircraft (MEA), which are based on the Beechcraft King Air 350ER aircraft and are equipped with mission-specific system capabilities. The aircraft are the 24th and 25th MEAs ordered by AMO. Separately, AMO funded the conversion of three HH-60 helicopters to UH-60 Lima Black Hawks through an interagency partnership with the Army, Utility Helicopter Project Office (UHPO) in Huntsville, Ala. The conversion is valued at $27 million. The Black Hawks are expected to be delivered in 2022 and are the seventh, eighth, and ninth aircraft ordered through the UHPO. The UH-60s are used for law enforcement, humanitarian, disaster recovery and national tasking missions.
