The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee yesterday reported by voice vote the nominations of two Obama administration officials for key leadership positions within the Department of Homeland Security. The committee reported out the nomination of Suzanne Spaulding to be under secretary for National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) and the nomination of John Roth to be Inspector General.
