Coast Guard Selects ACB, Metal Shark to Compete for Port Security Boats

The Coast Guard has awarded Phase I contracts to Aluminum Chambered Boats (ACB) and Metal Shark Aluminum Boats under the Transportable Port Security Boats (TPSB) program. Each firm will deliver one boat by March 31, 2010 for testing. Once validation of the performance of the initial boats is completed, there will be a down select to a single supplier.
