CBP Interested in Robotic Technologies for Tunnel Monitoring

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) regarding robotic technology for monitoring storm drains and tunnel characterization. CBP's Office of Border Patrol, Enforcement Information Technology Division and Office of Intelligence and Operations Coordination want information on new and innovative robotic technologies for remote exploration that can provide data wirelessly or via a tether using interchangeable system components and modules such as video, mapping, audio and others.
