CBP Conducts Predator Operations In Great Lakes Region

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) last month conducted about 100 hours of flight operations of a Predator B aircraft over the Great Lakes region as part of the expansion of unmanned aircraft system (UAS) operations to the Northern Border of the United States. The operation was aimed at demonstrating UAS operations and evaluating law enforcement coordination concepts in the land and maritime environments at the Northern Border, CBP said.
