EADS Deutschland GmbH Cassidian and Finmeccanica's Alenia Aeronautica S.p.A. said they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly investigate the potential cooperation in medium altitude long endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles (UCAV).
