Canada Names GDLS-Canada Prime Contractor for LAV III Upgrade

Canada this week said it has approved a potential $856 million upgrade program for the LAV III family of vehicles, and General Dynamics [GD] Land Systems-Canada will be the prime contractor and systems integrator. General Dynamics will work closely with the Department of National Defence (DND) in defining the scope of the LAV III upgrades, according to the announcement by Minister of National Defence Peter MacKay, with Lt.
