The Federal Aviation Administration, in support of Customs and Border Protection, plans to award a single source contract to U.S. Tower Corporation for repair services and related procurement of Falcon Mast System Assembly on the Mobile Video Surveillance System. U.S. Tower is the original equipment manufacturer for the assembly. Tactical Micro, part of Secure Technology Company, is the prime contractor for the MVSS.

Science and Technology Directorate plans to award a potential 18-month contract to GrammaTech, Inc. for work under the Static Tool Analysis Modernization Project (STAMP) to continue work that was begun under a contract with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), which isn’t able to service the requirement any longer. S&T says it still has a requirement and that the work left under the HHS contract won’t be done unless it awards a new contract to GrammaTech. The STAMP program is designed to create new techniques that advance the state-of-the art capabilities found in software analysis tools and will help address the risks proposed by the increasing use of software.
The Transportation Security Administration says its PreCheck trusted traveler program has expanded to include five additional airlines, Austrian Airlines, Swoop, PAL Express, VivaAerobus and Interjet, bringing the number of participating airlines to 72. PreCheck members traveling on carriers that are part of the program receive expedited screening benefits at airport checkpoints in the U.S.
Lepton Global Solutions says it has been re-awarded a contract by the Coast Guard for satellite data and voice services in support of the Coast Guard’s emergency response vehicles. Lepton, based in Northern Virginia, will provide iDirect-based Ku-band satellite communications including data and voice to Coast Guard Mobile Command Vehicles and Emergency Mobile Incident Command Posts throughout the U.S. and its territories. Lepton has been supporting these units since 2017. The value of the award wasn’t disclosed.
