The Transportation Security Administration has awarded L-3 Communications [LLL] a contract to supply an unspecified number of the company’s eXaminer 6700 Medium-Speed Explosive Detection Systems for installation at Boston’s Logan International Airport Terminal A. L-3 will also remove an unspecified number of its 6000 eXaminer EDS systems to make way for the 6700s. The number of EDS systems and the value of the award were redacted in a FedBizOpps.gov announcement.

has received a contract valued at more than $900,000 to supply its miniaturized technology for rapid and comprehensive in-field analysis of unknown suspicious substances at borders and points of entry. The company provides a range of portable and handheld systems, including the HazMatID Elite and ACE-ID, to identity suspected illegal or threat materials including narcotics, explosives, weapons of mass destruction and toxic industrial chemicals.
A-T Solutions, Inc., says its GreenLine Systems subsidiary is part of Brilliance Information’s (Brinfo) team that recently received a four-year contract to Support the Royal Malaysian Customs Department for its new “Ubiquitous Customs” Customs Information System. GreenLine will deploy its Cargo Targeting System and Vessel Selection System for the project, which is designed to provide Malaysian Customs with a scalable and proven risk management methodology and software platform for assessing threats and finding anomalous behavior. Malaysian-based Brinfo is an information technology solutions provider.
Cross Match Technologies has provided a sales office near London to serve the United Kingdom and European regions. The new office includes regional sales, business development, and sales engineering staff, and will soon include facilities for solution demonstrations. The company will continue to maintain sales offices, maintenance and repair, and select production capability in Jena, Germany in support of its global operations.
