Boeing Set To Deliver Laser JDAM Kits Next Year

Boeing [BA] said this week it is set to begin deliveries early next year under $22.7 million contract modification from the Navy for more than 2,300 laser sensors for the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) kits. The modification issued by Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in July effectively calls for full rate production to meet requirements under the Navy’s Direct Attack Moving Target Capability program, which is designed to allow pilots to hit moving vehicles.
