Boeing Finishes First Super Hornet Upgrades Early

Boeing [BA] finished the upgrade and life extension of the first two F/A-18 E/F Super Hornets in a modification effort 1.5 months ahead of schedule, respectively, the company told reporters Wednesday. These were the first two jets as part of the Service Life Modification (SLM) project to upgrade them to the Block III configuration and add more total lifetime flight hour time.
