Bell Helicopter Delivers Final of 15 407GXP Helicopters To The Mexican Air Force

Bell Helicopter Textron [TXT] delivered the last of 15 407GXP helicopters to the Mexican Air Force (FAM), the company said March 28.Mexico originally awarded the contract in March 2015 and this helicopter is being operated by the 111th Air Squadron based at the Military Airbase in Zapopan, Jalisco.The 407GXP, an upgrade to the company’s popular Bell 407 model, has a Rolls-Royce 250-C47B/8 turbine FADEC engine and can cruise at 246 km/hour.
