BAE Nabs Over $200 Million In Maintenance And Modernization Contracts For DGG and Amphib

The Navy awarded BAE Systems’s Norfolk Ship Repair unit two contracts on Oct. 18 for maintenance, modernization and repair of the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Laboon (DDG-58) and amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD-1). The DDG-58 contract is worth $115 million and entails the fiscal year 2025 docking selected restricted availability (DSRA) for the ship.
