AS&E Receives $14.3M ZBV Maintenance Order

American Science and Engineering [ASEI] has received a $14.3 million order from the U.S. military for service, support and spare parts for Z Backscatter Vans (ZBV) under a previously awarded contract that has a potential value of $46.2 million if all options are exercised. The latest award brings the total funded amount to $42.8 million. The contract, originally awarded in Sept. 2006, gives the government the option to exercise the remaining phases to May 2009.
