Army’s Goal To Build 100,000 155mm Rounds Per Month Delayed To Mid-2026

The Army’s goal to produce 100,000 155mm artillery rounds per month by late 2025 has been delayed by about six months to mid-2026, a service spokesperson confirmed. Army spokesperson Steve Warren noted the production rate is currently at 40,000 rounds per month and cited the difficulties in production ramp-ups broadly as attributing to the extended timeline. “It's hard.
