Army Seeking Sources For Maritime Sniper Detection System

The Army, in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM), is seeking to identify potential sources and vendors capable of supplying a maritime gunfire detection system that will be ready for engineering field tests within 12 months. The intent is to identify a system or systems with the following capabilities: Detection of sniper fire, including bearing and range to the point of fire, and ability to alert the user through visual and/or audio display, according to the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov…
