The Army plans to consolidate four existing contracts under a new single award program for cyber security services that includes more than a dozen tasks, the service says.

The upcoming Army Cybersecurity Enterprise Support (ACES) contract is formally called Cyber Identity Management Support Services and consolidates the Coalition Interoperability Assurance and Validation Technical Services, Identity and Access Management Engineering Support, Cyber and Registration Authority Support Services, and Identity and Access Management Division Policy Support Services contracts, the Army says in a FedBizOpps notice last month.iStock Cyber Lock

The Army’s Chief Information Officer/G6 on Dec. 2 held an industry day to expand its market research and update interested vendors on the planned acquisition, which will consist of 16 tasks for ACES. The tasks range from program management and communications security services to public key infrastructure advancement, network operations analysis, and research into the current state of technologies and processes for the Army’s identity and access management portfolio. Another task includes providing subject matter expertise to support the incorporation of identity, credentialing, and access management services in Army network operations, according to briefing slides the Army presented at the industry day.

The Army said that its acquisition strategy and performance work statement for ACES is still being finalized. The pending contract will have a one-year base period and four one-year options.

The Army also said it expects “an aggressive small business utilization plan” for the ACES acquisition.
