Army Increases SBIR Contract for Work on Detecting Explosives in Waste Water

The Army is increasing by $478,553 a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award to Polestar Technologies for continued development of a hybrid silicon chip for detecting explosives in waste water. The contract modification brings the total value of the award to $1.2 million. Polestar successfully completed Phase I, which developed and demonstrated the technical feasibility and marketability of the hybrid silicon chip for detecting explosives in waste water.
