Army Increases Northrop Grumman FBCB2 Contract By $574 Million

The Army has increased by $574 million the contract ceiling of Northrop Grumman's [NOC] Force XXI Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) program to provide installation kits, cables and related hardware. FBCB2 is the key situational awareness and command-and-control system used by U.S. and coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. Under this contract modification, Northrop Grumman will also provide FBCB2-Blue Force Tracking installation kits, which will include capability for the new in-line encryption device, called the KGV-72.
