ARINC Introduces Passenger Boarding Pass Screening System

ARINC Inc. has introduced the VeriPax Passenger Reconciliation System, a device that automates passenger and boarding pass screening. A customized version of VeriPax is being developed at Singapore's Changi Airport to facilitate self check-in passengers. The system supports the airline industry's transition to 2D bar-coded and plain paper passes, automatically screens passengers against airline host systems in real time, determines clearance, and provides alerts to agents when necessary.
