Approval of $6 Billion Military Acquisition Provides Shot in the Arm for Indian Navy’s Helicopter Programs

India’s Defence Acquisition Council (DAC), chaired by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, on Aug. 15 approved procurement of nearly $6.6 billion worth of military equipment and services.
