Apocalypse Now.. Vote Later: Anti-nuke fury as Defence Secretary announces Trident investment before MP’s give nod

Spending on the upgrading of Britain's Nuclear deterrent has now reached nearly £4bn, but the CND are furious that a Commons vote still hasn't taken place. A further £642 million will be invested in developing the new generation of submarines carrying the UK's nuclear deterrent, Michael Fallon has confirmed.
