Anomaly Causes Herschel-Planck Launch Postponement

Arianespace today announced an anomaly will force a delay of several days in launching the Herschel-Planck satellites, which had been set to lift off May 6. "Due to an anomaly discovered during tests on a subassembly identical to one on the Ariane 5 launcher, Arianespace has decided to carry out additional checks, which will take several days."
