Alion Submits Final Proposal For Canadian Navy Ship

Alion Science and Technology on Thursday said its Canadian subsidiary submitted its final bid to the Canadian government for that country’s new warship program, which is worth between $42 billion and $46 billion for 15 ships.Alion, one of three bidders for the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC), is offering a solution based on the Dutch De Zeven Provincien-class frigate, which is built by Netherlands-based shipbuilder Damen and has been in use for more than 10 years.
