Air Force Postpones WGS-7 Launch To Thursday

The Air Force on Wednesday postponed its Wideband Global Satcom-7 (WGS-7) launch until Thursday, citing weather at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.Launch is scheduled for 8:07 p.m. EDT. According to the 45th Weather Squadron at Cape Canaveral, there is a 30 percent chance of precipitation and 20 percent chance of lightning.Launch will take place on a Delta IV from United Launch Alliance (ULA), a joint venture of Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Boeing [BA].
