Air Force Plans Minuteman III Test Launch Tuesday Morning

The Air Force said it will conduct a Minuteman III ICBM test launch Tuesday between 4:39 and 10:39 a.m. EST. The unarmed missile is scheduled to launch from Vandenberg AFB, Calif., and travel approximately 4,200 miles to the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshal Islands, according to an Air Force statement. The service originally scrubbed an Oct. 23 test launch. The Air Force last successfully test launched a Minuteman III Sept. 23 with a previous test launch just four days earlier…
