Air Force Orders New CV-22 Training Devices, Upgrades To Existing Trainers

The Bell Boeing V-22 program, a strategic alliance between Bell Helicopter [TXT] and Boeing [BA], yesterday said it received a $34 million order from the  Air Force for three new CV-22 training devices and upgrades to three existing devices. The Air Force currently performs aircrew training activities at Kirtland AFB, N.M., on a CV-22 Cabin Part Task Trainer (CPTT).
