Air Force Awards $386 Million Modification to Raytheon for FMS Laser-Guided Bomb Contract

The Air Force has awarded Raytheon [RTN] a $386 million modification to an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for its Paveway family of laser-guided bombs. The contract action provides a total package approach for Paveway-specific activities to include studies, production, certification, integration and sustainment, and the modification involves 100 percent foreign military sales to current Paveway customers or countries who have expressed interest in the system, per a Nov. 20 contract notice.
