AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, recently announced it has been awarded an approximately US$63 million contract extension by the U.K. Ministry of Defence for the upgrade of 10 more British Army Lynx Mk.9 helicopters with LHTEC CTS800-4N engines. The contract was announced by Minister for Defence Equipment and Support Quentin Davies, during a visit to AgustaWestland's Yeovil facility.
