$250 Million Navy Training Deal With Saudi Arabia Announced

The State Department notified Congress on May 22 of a proposed $250 million deal with Saudi Arabia to continue a Naval training program with the country.Saudi Arabia requested the contract which would include professional military education, technical training, U.S. government contracting services, logistical services and support for the Royal Saudi Naval Force (RSNF).The proposed contract would enable the RSNF to maintain current maintain military performance levels and provide improved ability to handle maritime threats, according to a State Department release.The Naval…
