Pentagon Officials Tell Congress FMS Process is ‘Burdened, Not Broken’

Defense Department officials on May 17 pushed back on industry claims that the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) process is moving too slowly, necessitating major reforms.The FMS process as a whole is being criticized on the merits of a few high-profile cases concerning expensive, well-known platforms, said Vice Adm.
