Two House Armed Services Committee (HASC) members, Rep. Rob Wittman (R-Va.) and Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.), want the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to take immediate action to shorten the commercial space launch pre-application review process that they said can take years. Wittman chairs the HASC tactical air and land forces subcommittee, and Graves is a member of that panel and chairs the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
