With Sikorsky In Fold, Lockheed Martin Renames Division Rotary And Mission Systems

Lockheed Martin [LMT] on Thursday said it will rename its Mission Systems and Training segment to Rotary and Mission Systems next month to reflect the company’s acquisition of helicopter manufacturer Sikorsky Aircraft and the realignments related to the pending merger of its information services business with another federal contractor.“The new name captures the breadth of our expanded portfolio and reflects the skills and expertise of the 18,000 new employees who have joined our business,” Dale Bennett, executive vice president of…
