White House Issues Veto Threats For House Defense, Senate CJS Appropriations Bills

The White House on Tuesday issued veto threats for the fiscal year 2017 versions of the House defense and the Senate commerce, justices, science (CJS) and related agencies appropriations bills.The White House objects to the reduction and “misuse” of wartime spending, also known as overseas contingency operations (OCO) funds, in the House defense appropriations bill.
