U.S. Space Force Awards SAIC Nearly $575 Million for Ground-Based Radar Sustainment

U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command's acquisitions branch at Peterson Space Force Base, Colo., has awarded Science Applications International Corp. [SAIC] a nearly $575 million ground-based radar maintenance and sustainment (GMASS) competitive contract. "Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colorado; and other locations, and is expected to be completed by March 24, 2030," DoD said in an Aug. 29 contract announcement.
