Fifty people were killed Thursday night Feb. 12 when Continental Connection Flight 3407, a Bombardier Q400 operated by Colgan Air, crashed about five miles short of Buffalo Niagara International. The fatal accident broke a two-year dearth in U.S. airline deaths. The 74-seat regional airliner was en route from Newark's Liberty International to Buffalo. The aircraft had 45 passengers and four crewmembers onboard. One person on the ground was also killed when the commuter plane slammed into a suburban Buffalo home…
